How we measure listing and company quality

What is the FindAJob Score?

The FindAJob Score is a 0–100 quality rating assigned to every job posting and company on our platform. It helps you quickly identify listings with the most complete information and companies with the strongest presence.

The score is calculated automatically based on objective data quality signals. It is not influenced by paid placements or advertising.

How Scores Are Displayed

Score: 75 70+ = High quality
Score: 55 40–69 = Moderate quality
Score: 25 Below 40 = Limited information

A lower score does not mean the job is less legitimate. It simply means less information is available about the listing on our platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can employers pay for a higher score?

No. The FindAJob Score is based entirely on objective data quality factors. Paid listings receive no scoring advantage.

How often are scores updated?

Scores are recalculated periodically as new data becomes available. Freshness factors (like "recently confirmed") update with each feed cycle.

Why does a job I know is real have a low score?

The score measures information completeness on our platform, not job quality. A listing with a short description and no linked company profile will score lower even if the opportunity is excellent.
